Ruben E. Moreno Jr, 85 of Durango, Colorado, passed to his Heavenly Father on 5/09/2026 at the CommonSpirit Hospice care facility. Born 6/3/1940 to Ruben Moreno, Sr. and Pauline (Garcia) Moreno. Both deceased. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Filbert Garcia, Gloria Cook, Alex Moreno, and just recently, David Moreno. He is survived by his sister, Georgia Dye, and Tomas Moreno. His children are Christopher D. Moreno and Estanislado (Stanley) Moreno, as well as many stepchildren. His grandchildren are Shaea, Adam, and Adela, and his great-grandson is Ruben Moreno. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. (Rosary) with Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.Followed by internment at Crestview Memorial Gardens Hwy 16 and Hwy 172, across from Elmores store.
